in te ao Māori and the principles of parenting with nonviolence.
Parents, whānau and caregivers all welcome.
Our tipuna knew that tamariki were our brightest future. Most of us get that growing our tamariki is the biggest job we ever get to do, and sometimes it can be really hard.
So many things have impacted on whānau Māori. Our stories, our language, our tikanga have been deeply disrupted over generations. What's the effect of that on whānau of today?
He taonga te reo Māori. Matua Rautia and our Pou Papa Kāinga (facilitators) use te reo Māori as the waka for this journey of reclamation and celebration. If you don't have reo, we're here to support you.
The project is an initiative of Te Mauri Tau Inc, a holistic kaupapa-Māori based education organisation, located in Whaingaroa (Raglan). Nō Te Mātāwai, nō DV Bryant Trust, nō Len Reynolds Whānau Trust ngā putea tautoko.
